I may have drank a little too much gin….

My friend and I were reflecting upon these past few years and how surreal they’ve been.

With all the restrictions that were in place and not knowing the nature of covid or having a view of the path ahead, the uncertainty levels felt off the charts.

We suddenly had a new playing field to navigate with constant rule changes about what we could and couldn’t do, including seeing family and friends. Bubbles came to hold a new meaning. 🫧

In the early days of the pandemic, I’ll never forget clicking the refresh button on the supermarket website home delivery booking page a million times. Securing a booking slot became an unexpected dopamine hit💥

Whilst the pandemic seems mostly behind us, many of us are facing a new set of challenges.

Thinking back to Monday’s post (link in comments), one way to feel more equipped to deal with these is to firstly remind ourselves what can we and can’t we control 🚘

I believe many of life’s experiences hold gifts. 🎁

We just have to look for them 🔍

Take for example, your resilience skills:

💠Do you feel more equipped post pandemic, to weather life’s ups and downs?

💠Unlike drinking too much gin, what 🔸positive coping strategies🔸 did you uncover during the pandemic that may serve you now?

💠What do you know reliably boosts you, when you really need it?

I’d love to hear your thoughts and tips.

🌱What did you learn about yourself 🤓 as a result of what you’ve come through?
