Sometimes the negative chatter can get the better of us by:
🔸Believing it to be, the absolute truth
🔹Creating impossible standards for ourselves
🔸Shrinking and hiding ourselves
🔹Silencing our voices
One of the simplest and most effective approaches I’ve found *to start* to tackle these loops and chatter, is to practice the power of pause. I share some previous posts on this in the comments.
When things aren’t working for us, it can be hard to see the way forward.
Often getting sight of a next step can:
→Open up unimagined possibilities,
→Take us from feeling drained to feeling re-energised
→Give us much needed relief from the pressure of internal dialogue
